Meet the Team
Anthony Mogridge
Anthony has been a practicing psychologist for over 14 years to date working with adults, couples, children and their families. After completing his training in Australia with the University of Queensland, he has spent time across a broad range of areas within the private and public domains. This also includes making the journey across the globe in the motherland of the United Kingdom before making his way back to his home turf of Brisbane, Queensland.
After returning back to Brisbane, he commenced using EMDR therapy in 2019. He fell in love with the versatility, effectiveness and wide-ranging applicability of the EMDR approach and has been predominantly using this style of therapy since this time.
Anthony is a kind, compassionate and down-to-earth psychologist with experience in many of the most challenging areas of life. These include childhood and complex trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, workplace stress, bipolar disorder, behavioural problems, divorce and separation, and eating disorders. He is also particularly interested in working with those with complex childhood trauma, psychotic disorders (e.g. schizophrenia), borderline personality disorder, self-harming behaviours, and other personality disorders.
Anthony combines a range of different therapies, in addition to EMDR, to help his clients get the help they need based on their individual needs, preferences and requirements. These therapies include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to Enhanced CBT for Eating Disorders (CBTe), behavioural parenting interventions and Schema Therapy. He utilises a friendly and non-judgmental approach and is highly motivated to create effective and supportive relationships with his clients in order to create positive and lasting change.
